Pastor John Peterson has been senior pastor at Faith Covenant Church since 1993.  The call to the church was a homecoming for him as he grew in Omaha and graduated from Benson High School. He graduated from North Park University in Chicago and earned a Master of Divinity degree from North Park Theological Seminary.
 
Pastor Peterson is ordained by the Evangelical Covenant Church and has served churches in Foster City (MI), Chicago, Kennedy (MN) and Pomeroy (IA).  He has served on the board of directors for North Park University, Twin Lakes Conference Center and the Midwest Conference.  He is currently chair of the Midwest Conference ministerial association.
